Stools

Short round stools woven out of straw are used as seating throughout Yunnan, and locals say that the Khatso were among the first to make them. Today, few people in the village make their own, but wa³¹ zɿ³³fɛi⁴⁴ 王禹芬 (WYF) and her husband pʰv̩³³ zv̩³³li³¹ 普汝林 still do, and the process was recorded as part of the corpus. In this excerpt, wa³¹ zɿ³³fɛi⁴⁴ describes the process step by step. Towards the end, kʰuɛi⁴⁴ li²⁴ 奎丽 (KL) also asks several questions.
